Jan de Rooij finally sees his dream come true. An international Judo Centre in Goirle! A beautiful accommodation for 80 judo players to train and sleep. The combination of judo training and place to stay overnight is unique in judo. The Judo Academy has opened its doors in April 2013 for the first judo camps. The Judo Academy offers both judo competitors and recreational judo players the opportunity to practice during a weekend or week programme. It’s also possible to stay on a full time basis for a longer period of time.

Judo players from other parts of the world will be able to combine both training programmes and tournaments in Europe and use the Judo Academy as home base. The international contacts of Jan de Rooij and his staff will be instrumental in the organization of these programmes. The dojo has a judo mat of 400 m2 and 80 beds to facilitate large groups of judo players to train and stay overnight. A total of 1,600 m2 floor area with all facilities for a great sporting experience and pleasant stay.
